Window Tinting

Window tinting refers to the process of applying a thin, transparent film to the windows of vehicles or buildings for various purposes, including privacy, UV protection, and aesthetics. This film is typically made from polyester and comes in different shades and levels of darkness.

Benefits of Window Tinting:

  1. UV Ray Protection: Window tinting blocks a significant amount of UV rays from entering the interior of vehicles or buildings. This helps protect occupants from harmful UV radiation, which can cause skin damage and fade interior upholstery and furnishings.

  2. Heat Reduction: Tinted windows can significantly reduce the amount of heat entering a vehicle or building, especially in hot climates. This helps improve comfort levels for occupants and reduces the need for air conditioning, thereby potentially saving energy.

  3. Glare Reduction: Tinted windows reduce glare from sunlight and headlights, which improves visibility and reduces eye strain while driving or working indoors.

Types of Window Tinting:

  1. Dyed Film: This type of tinting uses a layer of dye between an adhesive layer and a protective outer layer. It absorbs solar heat and reduces glare. It is typically more affordable but may fade over time.

  2. Metalized Film: Metalized window tinting incorporates small metallic particles into the film. It provides excellent heat rejection, durability, and a reflective appearance. However, it can interfere with electronic signals like GPS and cell phone reception.

  3. Carbon Film: Carbon window tinting uses carbon particles to block heat transfer and provide UV protection. It offers a matte finish, excellent durability, and does not interfere with electronic signals.

  4. Ceramic Film: Ceramic tinting is the highest quality option, using ceramic particles to block heat and UV rays without blocking electronic signals. It provides superior clarity, heat rejection, and UV protection, albeit at a higher cost.​

Window Tint Aftercare

Drying & Curing Time
Drying and curing times vary depending on temperature, humidity, and sunlight exposure.
Cold and humid weather significantly slows down the curing process.

  • Summer:

    • Visible drying: 3–5 days

    • Fully cured: 1–2 weeks

  • Winter:

    • Visible drying: 7–10 days

    • Fully cured: 1–4 weeks (may take longer in cold conditions)

During the curing process, light haze or small water bubbles may appear. This is normal and will disappear once the film has fully cured.

Important Aftercare Instructions

  • Keep windows fully closed for 3–7 days (7 days recommended in winter)

  • Do not clean the inside of the glass for at least 7 days

  • Do not press or attempt to remove bubbles

  • Avoid stickers, suction cups, or accessories on tinted glass

  • Avoid directing strong heaters or airflow onto the glass during the first few days

Lifetime Warranty

All our window tint installations are covered by a lifetime warranty, valid for as long as you own the vehicle.

The warranty covers:

  • Fading

  • Peeling

  • Cracking

  • Adhesive failure

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper cleaning, or physical impact.
